In August 2024, Haven Bodega was founded by Humberto Muriel and Nelson Vásquez with the dream of creating a space for people of all backgrounds and ethnicities to connect around a cup of coffee, a crafted sandwich or a simple conversation. The dream turned into a reality, and it is becoming so much more than their original vision. Haven has slowly become Lilburn’s community hub. A place where strangers become friends, a judge-free zone where everyone is encouraged to be their most authentic self, regardless of background. Haven is a place that truly welcomes anyone.

Haven’s vision is sustained by an ever increasing array of high quality products. Starting with our brewed beverages, like our expertly roasted coffee mixed with a variety of homemade syrups. Smoothies, imported ceremonial Matcha, Frescos and many other drinks decorate the gamut of our offerings, so everyone can find a drink that they will appreciate and love. Then we have our Deli, the centerpiece of our crafted sandwich offerings. Mouth watering creations like our local staple Roast Beef with Haven’s goat cheese dill spread, the ever popular Turkey & Swiss with pesto Aioli, or the fan favorite Cajun Turkey sandwiches, delight our customers on a daily basis. Finally, there is our market. A carefully curated collection of local and imported products that adorn our shelves. The local products that we carry are sourced directly from small family businesses providing an array of experiences to our customers, and also demonstrating the true value of diversity. Our market also offers a delightful array of local and imported selection of beer and wine to be enjoyed at our store.

Haven is much more than the sum of its parts. Haven is a social experiment that uplifts community values by bringing together people from different backgrounds and cultures. Haven is an ever-evolving concept that never compromises on its core principles: Customer centricity, High quality products and a friendly & welcoming atmosphere. Haven may have started with Nelson and Humberto, but it has only evolved ever since because of its amazing team: James, Sam, Ava, Sarah, Jesse, Tom, Ella, Jordelle and Shane are what makes Haven what it has become today.
